GPSVS (Ghoghardiha Prakhand Swarajya Vikas Sangh) is 48 years old voluntary organisation registered under society registration act in 1978. Its headquarter is situated in Madhubani district Bihar. GPSVS has been working on Education, Health, WASH, Child protection and development, Community Based Disaster Risk Reduction, Climate Resilience, Migration & Skill Development. The organisation primarily working for Women, Children & Adolescents & youths. Its working area extends to different districts of Bihar like Madhubani, Darbhanga, Supaul, Purnia, Saharsha, Saran, Muzaffarpur, Patna, Nalanda, Bhojpur and other districts. It has strong network in other districts as well.

Project Name: Creche Centre for 07 to 36 months children

Job Description: Program Manager

Eligibility Criteria

i) Must be in the age group of 30-45 years.

ii)Master’s degree in Social Work/Social Studies/Master in Public Health/MBA.

iii)Minimum 5-10 years of experience of working in an NGO focusing on Nutrition/Health/Sanitation related programmes at block/district level.

iv)Should have managed projects independently in similar position.

v)Must have experience in working in tribal dominated district/blocks.

vi)Must have good communication skill, especially in Hindi/local dialect .

Job Responsibility

i) To look into the overall implementation of the projects

ii) Prepare monthly/quarterly and annual work plans of the project

iii) Ensure capacity building of the project staffs

iv) Coordinate with the district and block key stake holders for necessary support

v) Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports with support of M&E manager and ensure its timely submission.

vi) To have field visits to guide the team for quality implementation of the projects.

vii) To coordinate with donors for necessary compliances

viii) Organize monthly, quarterly, and annual program reviews

ix) To work in coordination with accounts and logistics Manager for ensuring transparency in utilization of funds, generation of UCs and tracking the utilization of funds under the different heads.

x) To monitor the performance of the project team members and take appropriate measures for improving the level of performance of the project staffs.

 Salary: Upto Rs. 50000.00 (Including HR, PF,etc) Subject to knowledge & working experience
